Keep successful results after a failed operation
Keep successful stage results, distinguish preparation retries from new operations, and estimate only the remaining work.
Before you start
Reviewing and downloading saved successes are free. Starting replacement AI work needs an account and a new credit estimate. First determine whether the source still awaits preparation or the operation has actually finished; those require different recovery paths.
Keep the results and plan the remaining work
Inspect stage results
Open the operation and find successful transcription, recognition or translation results. Open or export the result you need. An earlier stage’s text can remain available after a later failure; a failed row itself is not a subtitle document.
Separate preparation from finished failure
If an eligible source still needs preparation, reconnect and use Retry source in the same operation. If the operation has finished, preserve its results and continue with a new independent plan instead.
Estimate only remaining work
Where available, choose Try again with failed media and check the source for every included item. Exclude anything you do not want to repeat. For translation only, use saved transcription or recognition text when suitable. Check the new estimate before starting; your old results remain separate.
Result
Saved successes remain available. Any newly confirmed AI work has its own operation identity and charge.

Check the result
Check that the new plan includes only the work you still need. Afterwards, inspect its saved results and credit activity. Failed rows in the old finished operation remain history; they do not mean another attempt is still running.
If something goes wrong
If recovery cannot unambiguously identify the old source, choose a current source explicitly or exclude the row. A canceled operation can retain successful outputs too. See preparation recovery and terminal recovery.
