Generate subtitles for selected media

Review the sources and total credits for selected media, then keep and export each successful batch result.

Paid AIUses credits

Before you start

Sign in and have enough purchased credits for the displayed estimate. This task starts paid AI work only when you confirm the launch. Original audio or graphical sources need local access for preparation; stored subtitle text can be supplied without original media.

Plan and launch the batch

  1. Select media in the project

Open the project, synchronize required folder changes, and select the media rows you intend to process. Use the generation action in the project header. With no selection, every file that has something to generate starts included; inspect the list before continuing.

  2. Review every included source

Set the target language and use the project’s Results switches. Normal starts on, as does Forced when a forced source exists; SDH, Commentary and combined classifications start off.

Review each file’s slot lines. Use Include for the whole file, a slot’s checkbox for one result, and its source menu to change the source. On an available slot, choose Change source to regenerate from another source. A file’s own slot choice wins over later project switch changes.

  3. Confirm the complete plan

Check the outputs by classification, each with its file count and credits, and the distinct processes that will run. Scope counts results, included files, overrides and excluded files. Intermediate transcription or recognized text is also saved when shown. The launch button counts files, even when a file produces several results. Review the total credits and start once. Keep the tab open while sources need local preparation or upload.

  4. Result

The operation tracks separate media and source contents. Successful stage results are saved individually.

Check the result

Compare the finished results with the media you included. A partial result can still contain useful transcription, recognition or translation text. Select successful results to download together as a ZIP. Review failed items and their sources before planning replacement work.

For a finished operation, Try again with failed media opens a new plan with one failed source per classification in each failed file. Its other slots are off, so successful results do not run again. Several failed sources in the same slot require an explicit choice. Review these overrides, the included files and the new estimate before starting.

If something goes wrong

If the original source is unavailable, reconnect it. An ongoing operation may then offer Retry source. If the operation has finished, keep its successful results and plan new work for what is still needed. If live updates stop, reopen the existing operation before starting another.
